Jay Baer is hanging up the mic. 🎤
If you’ve attended a major marketing conference in the last fifteen years, odds are you’ve seen him on stage: plaid suit, working the room, making the entire audience somehow feel seen. Awesome slides too, if I may say so.
After 1,400+ presentations, 7 business books, and induction into the National Speakers Association Speakers Hall of Fame, Jay is stepping away from life on the road as a professional speaker, at least for now. When I heard, I had to ask him to sit down on Presentation Thinking and share everything he’s learned.
I’ve looked up to Jay for a long time: as a business owner, a family guy and fellow Hoosier by choice. But more and more as a communicator, marketer, and storyteller.
I thought I knew a lot about Jay, and a lot about presentations. But then he came on my show and dropped two million gems on me that blew my mind.
For instance: would you believe that the guy I just described above didn't give a paid speech until he was forty years old? 🤯
I’m not sharing any more of my aha moments here. Tune in and tell me what stands out to you. If you’re a Presentation Thinker (you know what that means), I guarantee you’ll get something out of it.
